Again in Hong Kong, but may just as
well pass for a first time since I have never posted any of my pics from
the previous visits hahaha.. Sorry na friends, will get around to doing
so sometime VERY SOON lol. Unahon sa nako ang CamboThai :P
So
this is day 1. To sum it up, I flew to Hong Kong on the same flight with
Rash and Joy (na first time ra pud diay meet ni Rash lol), arrived
there at around 1AM, stayed at the airport (studied, napped) til 8AM,
before parting ways at the Bus Terminal to board our respective buses.
Sayop na bus akong nasakyan (BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE HOSTEL TOLD
ME TO TAKE THAT BUS!!!) so I got off at another Bus Terminal in Hung
Hom, which was coincidentally where the venue for my exam the following
day was at.

Ran out of cushioned benches to sleep on :/ |
|
Packed to stay :( |
|
Coffee to start the day @ 7-11 at the Airport |
|
Asia No. 1 -- just cause it lacked an 's in Asia :P |
So it really was a blessing in disguise since I now
knew where the school was, and how to get there, as the MTR was right
beside the Bus Terminal and I took the MTR the rest of the way to the
hostel. Did make it in one piece haha. :P Check in was at 2PM, so I left
my bag in the storage room, went out to find some lunch, called Tito
Paul and Elaine to let them know I'd arrived and to ask where to buy a
sim card, and then went to WorldWide House in Central.

Beef Bowl lunch @ Yoshinoya |
And boy
was I surprised at the crowd that greeted my arrival! There were Pinoys
EVERYWHERE! Most of them were just lingering around, while some were
carrying signs of products they were selling. I explored a bit first
(found Jollibee!), before approaching one of the ladies selling sim
cards. It cost 50 HKD, but it was sooo freaking worth it as I used it to
call home 2x a day during my entire trip, make plans with a new friend,
and make telebabad with Rash twice hahaha :) And I STILL have credit
left over! Haha. So yeah. Went back to the hostel to check in, and
promptly SLEPT.

I found you! After 4 trips to HK! Hahaha! |
|
The crowd outside the Worldwide House - some singing going on. |
|
The Pinoy Sim Card from Smartone - sooo sulit! |
|
Just cause this reminded me of the building in Fuente where McDo is. :P |
|
Outside the Central Station - Exit A |

Entrance to the Central Station |

@Causeway Bay station. These walls used to be papered with Canon ads. :) |

My bunk bed - #5 |
|
The other bed had a yellow pillowcase! Mine was white :/ |
I did wake up to Tito Paul's call when he
dropped by the hostel to hand me the permit slip that he had claimed on
my behalf, and then slept the rest of the afternoon away! I had already
been feeling off before the flight, so all the stress and no sleep
caught up to me at that point and I just stretched out on my bunk bed
and conked out. I was supposed to meed Russet for dinner, even. Haha. So
it was a good thing their trip to Shenzhen took longer that they came
back late as well, and had to go to the airport.
I woke up at
11:30PM, took a half bath, dressed in my lounging clothes, bundled up
with my jacket and went out to 7/11 to buy a rice meal to go. Heated it
up in the microwave back at the hostel, and had a late late late night
meal! Yay! Rice! :D After, I watched some of the assessment videos on
repeat before succumbing to sleep once again at around 3AM. ON THE EXAM
DAY. Oh no! :P
