AH1N1 Awareness Seminar

Whilst spamming with Cleo and John D. at work, the drama queen announced (out of the blue) a seminar to be held a few hours after we get off work at CIT regarding the current pandemic caused by this new type of flu. Of course we had to go -- sayang ang certific, i mean, valuable information na mahatag sa seminar. ;p It really was informative. John isn't in any of the pictures because he failed to make it, saon taman natulog man. We saw a few, ehem, colleagues there as well. ^_^

Demi Luv's Birthday at Toledo

... lagi lagi dugai na kaau ni...;p

After a tedious 9-hour shift which ended at 8 am, I went home, showered, changed clothes, and then went to starmart (atbang sa southbus) to meet liz and john.. We proceeded to city link to catch a vhire ride to toledo, where demi lab met us at a Gal's bakeshop..

Demi's hair was short and curly.

She took us to her lola's house, gave us red tea to drink, and ordered us to make name tags. It was torture. After about an hour's worth of tambay2, we went to the local elementary school to meet the kids (and their teacher) who were gonna be part of demilab's party.

There was no available venue as yet when we, and the jollibee people, arrived.. So we waited at the listening center.. I never even knew there was such a center. After a few minutes, a room was made available to us; so we rearranged some stuff, Riza said her "BISAYA" prayer.. and then..

PARTY TIME! I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story..

After that, it was time to go home.. Back to the city, back to reality, back to freakin work.. walai tugpahai ang show..

Sykes Christmas Party at Shangrila

Photo-mongers as usual ahahahaha.. Though incomplete, we managed to make the night memorable and enjoyable.. ahemm.. =D such an eventful night..

KAHAYAG @ Ces' place 11/19/08

I don't really know whose idea this was, but it was a lotta fun. Even though we spent the entire night - and well into noontime - answering calls (job description people, JOB DESCRIPTION), almost everyone was on a high as the horror flick kept us on the edge of our seats. Our team's home-version of a team social.

Thank you, Ces, for the hospitality and space (and yummy Zambo-style chicken adobo)..

Thank you, Ate Shy and Vanya, for the spaghetti which was a source of discomfort to the both of you as it was cooking in the heat..

Thank you, Che2x for the scary DVDs..

And thank you to everyone who were there because it was really really FUN!;p

Royal Concourse

Planning for an end-of-year celebration/party/awards ceremony was tough, what with end of year exams, requirements, and graduation stuff to finish. So in one of our final meetings, the Nightingale Student Council of AY2007-2008 celebrated a year well-done at one of the buffets here in the city: the Royal Concourse.Sure, we took the money to pay for the food out from the NSC treasury.. But we did work our asses off for a whole year (almost failing and being retained --- oh, one did get retained, sorry--- missed deadlines and group activities, sacrificing sleep at times hehe), and just a little fyi: We starved during he first 3 quarters of the schoolyear because there was no money for snacks lol. So sorry if we treated ourselves, but we had fun anyway..
