Demi Luv's Birthday at Toledo
... lagi lagi dugai na kaau ni...;p
After a tedious 9-hour shift which ended at 8 am, I went home, showered, changed clothes, and then went to starmart (atbang sa southbus) to meet liz and john.. We proceeded to city link to catch a vhire ride to toledo, where demi lab met us at a Gal's bakeshop..
Demi's hair was short and curly.
She took us to her lola's house, gave us red tea to drink, and ordered us to make name tags. It was torture. After about an hour's worth of tambay2, we went to the local elementary school to meet the kids (and their teacher) who were gonna be part of demilab's party.
There was no available venue as yet when we, and the jollibee people, arrived.. So we waited at the listening center.. I never even knew there was such a center. After a few minutes, a room was made available to us; so we rearranged some stuff, Riza said her "BISAYA" prayer.. and then..
PARTY TIME! I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story..
After that, it was time to go home.. Back to the city, back to reality, back to freakin work.. walai tugpahai ang show..
Demi Luv, you are truly a blessing to the people around you. May He shower you with blessings all throughout life.. =D I love you dems! Happy birthday (belated)

KAHAYAG @ Ces' place 11/19/08
I don't really know whose idea this was, but it was a lotta fun. Even though we spent the entire night - and well into noontime - answering calls (job description people, JOB DESCRIPTION), almost everyone was on a high as the horror flick kept us on the edge of our seats. Our team's home-version of a team social.
Thank you, Ces, for the hospitality and space (and yummy Zambo-style chicken adobo)..
Thank you, Ate Shy and Vanya, for the spaghetti which was a source of discomfort to the both of you as it was cooking in the heat..
Thank you, Che2x for the scary DVDs..
And thank you to everyone who were there because it was really really FUN!;p
Hoping for more to come! Go team! =D

Royal Concourse
Planning for an end-of-year celebration/party/awards ceremony was tough, what with end of year exams, requirements, and graduation stuff to finish. So in one of our final meetings, the Nightingale Student Council of AY2007-2008 celebrated a year well-done at one of the buffets here in the city: the Royal Concourse.Sure, we took the money to pay for the food out from the NSC treasury.. But we did work our asses off for a whole year (almost failing and being retained --- oh, one did get retained, sorry--- missed deadlines and group activities, sacrificing sleep at times hehe), and just a little fyi: We starved during he first 3 quarters of the schoolyear because there was no money for snacks lol. So sorry if we treated ourselves, but we had fun anyway..
The pictures can show the rest. (captions next time)
** We missed you here, Gil.. Where are u na diay, BTW?**

Catmon get-away
I honestly forgot when this took place hehe.. Bahaw na ni na pics but anyway..
This was our first-ever NSC outing, and boy was it fun! We called it our "team-building" but it was really just an out-of-town thing that we'd planned to steal away from the pressures of student council life for a day.. (Oh, and I seem to remember na, this was during our sem-break.. yey)
The day started out with us taking the mini-bus from the North Bus Terminal to Catmon. The ride itself was pret-ty LONG, but I barely noticed since I was busy chewing Caj's ear off with my stories and some minor trivialities - and I kept it up all the way to Catmon (so sorry Caj, but you gotta admit, it made the whole trip less tedious =D). The mini-bus dropped us off across the dirt road which would lead us to our destination. But before we could even start walking the 250m or so of non-asphalted road, we had to make a quick stop by the trees (banana trees to be exact.. Although come to think of it, bananas aren't exactlyTREES.. Shrubs? Anyway..) coz the boys decided that they REALLY had to GO.. So we attempted to take a shot of them peeing, didn't make a good pic though.
After a few minutes of hiking, we finally arrived at our destination = AROMA. It was kinda cool even from the outside coz we had an immediate view of the slide. And it was long and TALL. We couldn't wait. So we kinda ran into the place, paid for a cottage, dropped our stuff off, and changed into swim clothes (but not before we took some "arrival photos". We waited until Gil and Bird came with the ready-to-cook food, and when they did, started setting up the table. Gil and John went ahead to do the cooking (or grilling, in this case), Bird went to buy ice, and the rest of us cleaned the dining area. A short while later, lunch was served, and it was uber yummy! Big thanks to Gil and her lola. After lunch, it was time for some fun in the water..
One thing I just can't forget: the slide was DANGEROUS. Or, at least, we MADE it dangerous haha.. Asa kag muslide down sa pirting taasa na slide na gatrain2.. Nangabun-og pud mi ato oie haha.. But injuries aside, it was one fun-filled day with good friends and good food. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story.. ^^,
To Liz, Randolph, and Fred: SAYANG!
